4 Dope AF Black Nanoinfluencers

Last year to celebrate and commemorate Juneteenth, I started this 4 Dope AF Black Nanoinfluencers feature to showcase BLACK women in the influencer/creative space making an impact with their audience.

The goal for 2021 was to showcase two sets of women—one group for Women’s History Month and another set for Juneteenth.

Honesty Moment: I was super late for March and ultimately missed my deadline.

But Thank God for Juneteenth. In all seriousness, THANK GOD FOR JUNETEENTH.

If you’re unfamiliar or have literally been living off the grid, Juneteenth is the word used to acknowledge and celebrate the national independence day for African-Americans in the United States. In 1863 President Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation making it illegal for any person to own slaves; hence, the end of slavery and the freedom of African-Americans. However, it was not until June 19th, 1865, when all enslaved people in the country finally received the news of their freedom via the Emancipation Proclamation, which was signed two years earlier.

To celebrate my Blackness, freedom, and creativity, I want to highlight four astonishing women who are game-changers in their respective spaces:
